About This Item
Hollywood: Paramount Pictures, 1936. Vintage hand-tinted color promotional photographs of Karen Morley in 1936, just before her first feature with Paramount Pictures, "The Last Train from Madrid" (1937).
Morley's notable film credits include "Mata Hari" (1931), "Scarface" (1932), "The Mask of Fu Manchu" (1932), "Flesh" (1932), and "Black Fury" (1935). After filming "Framed" (1947), Morley's career came to an abrupt halt when she testified before the House Un-American Activities Committee (HUAC), refusing to answer questions about her alleged American Communist Party membership, and subsequently being blacklisted in Hollywood.
8 x 10 inches. Very Good plus, with faint creasing overall.
