This British association was founded in 1906 and is the oldest of its kind in the world. The original ABA is the senior trade body for dealers in antique and rare books, as well as manuscripts and similar items in the British Isles. Its membership is also international. Membership is highly selective, and is based on a strict criteria of integrity, expertise, and experience.
