Michael Light is a photographer and artist living in San Francisco. His book Full Moon, which was drawn from the archives of NASA, was published in July 1999 to international acclaim with an accompanying exhibition on the thirtieth anniversary of the landing of Apollo 11. His work is in the collections of the Center for Creative Photography, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. He is currently at work on an aerial survey of the American West.
