Laid in is a history of this work and a typescript from The Argus Bookshop of 1880 correspondence between John Hay and others interested in this scandalous Twain ribald. Stapled gray wrappers with woodcut cover illustration and the 1932 date on the last text page, clean and unmarked in a Brodart envelope with archival backing.
