Ledger sheet dated Oyster Bay Oct 25th 1815 Daniel Cheshire doing this work for William Wright; content listing for pieces of leather, pair of Morocco uppers, pair of Morocco Bindings, pair of Leather Bindings, making, mending shoes, boots, giving dates of work and prices, account paid in full; approx. 7 1/2" x 9" size; some edge, tips wear. old fold lines to paper, some splitting; overall, in good condition; and interesting Oyster Bay Long Island community, commercial history & reference; an interesting speculation if the "bindings" referred to may concern the binding of books, possible given Cheshire's obvious familiarity with aspects of the leather work trade.. Good.
