Glorious book, 1901, 462 pages. No dust jacket with damaged spine. Please refer to photos. Foxing to pages. Red cloth with gilt lettering. Dated from the preface. B&W illustrations throughout. Front endpaper to frontispiece detached but present. Clean pages other than frontispiece . Foxing and tanning to endpapers and page edges. Both hinges cracked. Some gutter cracking.
