1913. Vienna and Mödling, 1913 and 1914. 20 : 16 cm. Together 17 pages on 18 leaves, the business card written in pencil on both sides. To Marting Gerlach sen. from Buch- und Kunstverlag Gerlach & Wiedling, because of lack of time it is impossible to contribute to the "Alt Wiener Buch" (2.II. 1913), regarding an appointment (13.V.1913 with a mounted business card from Konrat Mautner), about his work at a costume-studio which went bankrupt and therefore he will work less for them (16.VIII, 1913), about the welcome interruption of his grass widower because of a visit by Gerlach (19.VIII, 1913), asking for a notice "wie viele Schwarz-weiss Zeichnungen für den Mozart vorgesehen sind" (how many black and white drawings he needs for the Mozart, 2.IX, 1913), and with a reminder for this request (16.IX. 1913), asking to help him in financial matters by transferring him the fees for the "des Moerike-Honorars" (9.VII, 1914), about sending drawings (14.VII, 1914>), and possible projects for books "(...) Mit dem Theresiabuch mögen Sie schon recht haben. Es ist der sieben jährige Krieg jetzt auch keine sonderlich sympathische Erinnerung. Gestern war Emil Wetzler (d.i. der Musikverleger E.W.) bei mir u. erwähnte Ihre Idee eines Buches über unseren Kaiser. Das ist gewiss gut, würde mir aber gar nicht liegen . Würden Sie nicht an einen Band Ihrer Meisterwerke d(eutscher) P(rosa) denken? Mein Plan von Sterns empfindsamer Reise ist ja jetzt hinfällig. Aber wäre nicht an Hoffmanns Frl. v. Scuderi zu denken od. wenn dies wegen des frz. Milieus unpassend wäre, vor Allem überhaupt an Reuters "Dörchläuchting? (...). (Letter from 30.VIII.1914).
