Weak crease to jacket crown at front panel. Group of stains inside front cover, appears to be from adhesive used in manufacturing process (see photos). Text is clean and unmarked. First Edition is stated. A wonderful association, inscribed "Ed Wilson kindred spirit," providing an affectionate snippet of the relationship between these two major figures in the history of the natural sciences. Both men spent time at Harvard.
