Daily Mail Publishing Co.. Poor. 1899. Hardcover. Front cover is detached but present. Spine has rubbing to the ends and the raised ridges. Covers have light wear to the outer corners. Rear cover has a small faded spot. Outer (free) edge of folded page is creased its entire length. Front and rear blanks are foxed. Title page and last page (printer's crest) are slightly foxed. ; Approx. 8 1/2" wide by 12 1/2". One page of text followed by folded page with plate and second page of text. When fold is open, entire contents are displayed. Four stanza poem is in facsimile Kipling handwriting. Plate is "A gentleman in kharki" by R. Caton Woodville. ; 3 pages .
