About This Item
London, William Kimber, 1967. 1st Edition. 231 pages. Very good brown cloth covers in a very good but chipped and edgeworn pictorial dust wrapper. Contents fine. Black and white ills. Light scattered foxing to the page edges. The controversial English historian of the Second World War, Irving, scrutinizes the tragic death of Gen. Wladyslaw Sikorski, Prime Minister of the Polish Government in Exile and Commander-in-Chief of the Polish Armed Forces. Sikorski died in an unexplained air crash at Gibraltar in 1943 which now has been proved to be mechanical/pilot error. Highly readable.
