About the author

Anna Yeatman is professor and director of the Centre for Citizenship and Public Policy, University of Western Sydney. She is a political and social theorist who has also practical experience in public policy. Phillip Hansen is Professor and Chair of Philosophy at the University of Regina, Canada. He is the author of Hannah Arendt: Politics, History and Citizenship (1993), Taxing Illusions: Taxation, Democracy and Embedded Political Theory (2003) and, with Harold Chorney, Toward a Humanist Political Economy (2003). He has published articles in Contemporary Political Theory; Studies in Political Economy; and The Canadian Journal of Political and Social Theory. Magdalena Zolkos is research fellow in political theory at the Center for Citizenship and Public Policy, University of Western Sydney. She has published on issues of reconciliation, collective trauma, community and testimony. Charles Barbour is Lecturer in Philosophy at the University of Western Sydney, Australia, and a member of the Centre for Citizenship and Public Policy. He is the author of The Marx-Machine (2010) and the co-editor of After Sovereignty: Essays on the Question of Political Beginnings (2009). He has published journal articles in Theory, Culture and Society; Philosophy and Social Criticism; Law, Culture and the Humanities; and Telos.
