This is one of the earliest exchanges between parliament and William III (of Orange). This is an address from Parliament confirming their support of William of Orange, with his reply requesting the reimbursement of Holland for the expense incurred during the Glorious Revolution, and money for no less than 20,000 'horse and foot' to take to Ireland. This is in the build up to the Battle of the Boyne. Reduced from £350 Condition: Disbound, Light scattered foxing. Occasional thumbmark. Small pencil inscription to the title page. Page edges are rough. Closed tear to page 7 measuring approx 2cm.
