Bound in full red straight-grained morocco by Bayntun of Bath, spines with contrasting brown and green morocco labels, and gilt floral toooling within gilt-bordered compartments, covers feature an interlocking floral border surrounded by twin gilt rules, gilt inner dentelles repeat the floral cover border, all edges gilt, marbled endpapers (very slight rubbing).Illustrated with Steel Engravings After Paintings By Robert Smirke.
