London : printed for J. Osborn 1749. 4 volumes 12mo (5 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches). Lacking frontispiece to volume 1 and title-page of volume 2. With 23 (of 32) engraved plates. Contemporary calf-backed boards uncut. Spines very dry and worn, boards rubbed, hinges cracked, old signature on titles, a few ink spots on one, some dustmarking. Bookplates on front pastedowns. Plates present are at: Vol.1: pages 40,78,98,118, 171, 196, & 218. Vol.2: page 100. Vol.3: pages 8, 14, 36, 74, 94, 121, & 296. Vol.4: pages: 3, 12, 23, 45, 58, 122, 218, & 229.
