About the author

Willie Cooper, a well-seasoned grill master, has been cooking with fire for almost two decades. A graduate of Peter Kump's New York Cooking School, he has labored in the kitchens of several renowned chefs, including Jean-Francois Taquet and the late Jean-Louis Le Palladin. Today, he is a personal chef and cooking instructor in his own right. Chef Willie resides in the hills above the California wine country town of Sonoma with his wife, Kelly, daughters Charlotte and Emma, two dogs, and several chickens.
