Other key issue points included in their earliest state are: the inserted plate with the illustration of the bust of Twain is credited to the "Heliotype Printing Co.;" with cloth visible; on page 143 the "l" in "Col." is missing; on page 161 the signature mark "11" is missing. The book is bound in the ORIGINAL publisher's green cloth with minor wear to the spine and edges. The pages are clean with light wear. There is NO writing, marks or bookplates in the book.
