Light edgewear with some rubbing and wear to the spine. Easily Very Good. FIRST PRINTING on wove paper and with half-title and frontispiece with blank versos and with "THE" on the half-title page in 10-point rather than 14-point type. Original blue cloth with peach endpapers with front and rear triple flyleaves of laid paper; four pages of ads at the rear. BAL 3369. MacDonnell, 39-40. Illustrated by True Williams and others.

Synopsis

The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, by Mark Twain, is a popular 1876 novel about a young boy growing up in the antebellum South on the Mississippi River in the town of St. Petersberg, based on the town of Hannibal, Missouri.
