Publisher's dark blue ribbed cloth with gold gilt lettering and decorations stamped to the front board and spine, as well as small blue, white and gold illustration to the front board. Heavily illustrated throughout with black and white plates taken from photos, including the frontispiece portrait. Previous owner's name stamped to the ffep and front pastedown, as well as to the textblock edges, though that has mostly faded away. Small closed tear to the plate facing p. 33. Some wear to the head and tail of the spine.
