Pistorii: A. Bracalium. [Figurato Fisica] (cm.21,5) bel cartoncino originale policromo, titolo al dorso. -- cc. 2 nn., pp. 49, 1 c. bianca + 3 tavv. f.t. ripiegate in rame. Con vari tipi di barometri e la macchina pneumatica del Cari, prima in Italia. Vedi Boffito " Gli Strumenti della Scienza " p.133: " Una macchina pneumatica venne pure costruita in Toscana, verso il 1770 da Gaetano Cari ". Edizione originale ed unica veramente rara di questa serie di esperimenti sul vuoto, capillarità, barometri ecc. Con riferimenti a Guadagni, Hooke, Hauksbee, Torricelli nonchè a Boyle e Gravesande. Nessuna copia in Poggendorff, Britisch M. Cat., BNC, Sotheran e Riccardi. Esemplare molto bello e nitido.[f56] . ottimo. Rilegato. prima edizione. 1779.
