London; Victor Gollancz, 1974., 1974. Hard Cover. FIRST EDITION. Octavo, pp [6], 121. Illustrated by Margery Gill including frontispiece. Original purple cloth with gilt titles to spine and brown endpapers, in unclipped pictorial dust-jacket. Cover cloth lightly rubbed at spine tips; textblock edge faintly stained otherwise contents clean and crisp. No annotation or inscriptions. Jacket very lightly creased to rear lower edge. A Near Fine copy in like jacket. Children's adventure story set in Dorset involving witchcraft and a runaway with parallels in local history. Scarce.
