Old pencil ownership inscription on half-title, firmly written, an impression of it is seen on the next page. Five or so pages with scattered reader's marks in pencil. Still, a very good and presentable copy. Final published novel in Haggard's "Allan Quartermain" series of adventure novels. Published posthumously, the novel is a prequel/dream set in the Stone Age.
