During the great healing revival of the 1950s and 1960s, revival tents dotted the American landscape. One of the most colorful of the healing evangelists of this era was "God's man of faith and power," A.A. Allen. Allen was known to millions through his long-running radio and TV series, the monthly Miracle Magazine, and his healing crusades held across the country.

Some of the best-remembered ministry figures of the era were closely associated with A.A. Allen, including R.W. Schambach, Nancy Harmon, Jerry Bernard, and gospel music legend Goldia Haynes. The community of Miracle Valley, Arizona, served as the focal point for Allen's ministry organization and became home to a community of believers and a Bible college.

Even today, nearly 50 years since his death, aspects of Allen's life and ministry remain controversial. This new biography examines the evidence and provides a fresh, objective view of A.A. Allen. The story of his life and ministry is traced from its earliest beginnings to his death in 1970.
