Description

New York: Simon & Schuster, 1942. unpaginated. Pictorial boards, Color and black and white illustrations throughout. The same date (1942) apprears on the title page and the copyright page with no additional printings indicating a true First Edition, first printing. There is loss of fabric on the upper edge of the spine, black marker crossout on the "This book belongs to" part of the front pastedown. Otherwise an internally very clean copy. The scarce unclipped pictorial jacket has minor rubs, the original 25 Cents on the front flap in mylar sleeve..This is The Little Golden Library title #3.. First Edition First Printing. Hardcover. Very Good-/Very Good. Illus. by Vivienne Blake. Octavo.

Our Internet business began in 2001. Upon visiting the store, we can show and sell individual online titles upon request. Store hours are 10:00-5:30 (Tues.-Sat.) and 11:00-4:00 (Sun.). The business is run by Richard Chalfin.

Terms of Sale: All sales are net. Prepayment is required. Postage in USA: items will be sent Media Mail Rate ($4) unless Priority Mail is requested ($6-$8).
