Frontispiece is torn and slightly loose.Cracking to hinges, with exposed netting. Pages are thumb-marked with moderate tanning and foxing to endpapers and text block edges. Former owner's inscription to half title page, with a few small nicks and creases along text block edge. Minor dog-eared corners. Pencil inscription to rear free endpaper. Notable cracking to front hinge, with exposed netting. Binding remains firm, with slight crinkling to gutters. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with noticeable bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Heavy tanning to spine and edges, with visible crushing to spine ends. Liquid drops on all boards, with moderate mottling to rear board. Book has a notable forward lean.
