The work is extensive. A survey of the many activities in which the Red Cross takes a part may cause apprehension as to the extent to which it takes over peacetime functions that are more properly the work of the individual and the community. The book is published "not for profit," and will be valuable to any one who is anxious to encourage the work of this philanthropic organization." A clean very presentable copy in a Brodart mylar jacket.
