About This Item

New York: Coward-McCann, 1938. First Edition . Hardcover. GVG. 232 pp. Illustrated with 6 color plates, and hundreds of black and white photographs and drawings by the author. Her work was collected by museums such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. This book ends with her prediction that the fiber arts would take their place as fine art, which has turned out to be true! Blue cloth with gilt titles. Spine faded, and boards gently bowed, textblock is clean and tightly attached in the case.
