The New and Revised Edition (first was in 1914). 356 pps. plus statistical appendix of all races. Illustarted with black and white photographic plates and line drawings. History of the America's Cup yacht races including the story of early yaching in the U.S. and of the original "America" that went to England to sail in the 100-guinea race that would later come to bear her name. Updated to include the 1920 races between the Resolute and the Shamrock IV. A tight copy, prev. own, sig. front free endpaper; Cover gilt lettering bright; spine sunned and dulled.
