The is very minor rubbing to the spine ends and corner tips. The wrapper has been price clipped. There is a previous owner's bookplate to the front free end paper. The book is free from foxing and there is no previous owner's ink. Overall a very good ++ copy. It is signed without dedication and dated by the author to the title page.  The book describes a six-month journeyn by the author across the Asian continent after the Iranian Revolution. V.S. Naipaul explores the culture and the explosive situation in countries where Islamic fundamentalism was growing.
