About This Item

New York: Alfred A. Knopf, 2016. Book. Near Fine. Hardcover. 1st Edition. Very clean first edition, first printing in clean unclipped dust jacket (now in new archival quality removable mylar cover). Clean orange boards with brown spine, silver lettering on spine. No bumping or fraying. Binding is tight and square, hinges are sound. Pages and edges are clean, no names, writing or marks. 310 pages. Clean jacket is unchipped, no tears, not price clipped. Critically acclaimed first novel by a man who joined the British Army when he was twenty-three and served in Iraq in 2007 and Afghanistan in 2009. He is also a painter and has completed a post grad degree at the Royal Drawing School. A brilliant novel clearly based on the author's experiences in combat and recovery..
