This survey of Salisbury's historic buildings covers the period from the Norman Conquest to the year 1850 (with the exception of Old Sarum, which features prominently). This particular volume excludes Salisbury Cathedral and the Close. 199 pages + lxiv prelims. 105 pages of b/w plates. Multiple b/w maps, plans and drawings through the text, including several fold-outs. 3 maps in an end-pocket. . Condition: The jacket has colour fading to the spine area and the fore-edges, and is enclosed in a removable transparent glassine wrapper. The book itself is clean and unmarked. Very heavy book; extra charges to cover the cost of shipping outside the UK may be requested. Cannot post to Canada or Cambodia (over the 2 Kg limit for Printed Papers).
