New York: Grosset and Dunlap, 1930 Book. Near Fine. Hardcover. First Edition. The book is in red cloth with black stamping on the spine and gold filled black stamping on the front cover. It has white end papers, no top stain and a frontispiece and three internalillustrations.The book is worn very little. The jacket has minor chipping at all of the folds ad a 1.8 inch hole at a point toward the bottom of the right-hand spine fold. The jacket back panel list to this title as does the reverse and the pre- and post-text of the book. The pretext lists 10 Jerry Todd titles, 6 Poppy Ott titles, 4 Andy Blake titles, 2 Trigger Berg titles and 5 titles in preparation including another Andy Blake title that was never published. This is an apparent first edition. The post text list is the same but lacks the list of titles in preparation.The back flap of the jacket has 8 Trigger Berg titles. The back panel of the jacket has the same titles listed as the post text but in a different order. The reverse of the jacket lists 3 Andy Blake, 6 Poppy Ott, 9 Jerry Todd, and 2 Trigger Berg titles. A bookplate designed by Bert Salg printed with the author's signature is laid in..
