About This Item

London: John Roberts Press, 1970. 2nd Impression . Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. Davies, Mike. Unpaginated. Second printing, the first was a limited edition of 250 copies. I can't say if these are essays, poems, or captions for the drawing. I can say that the words and drawings together constitute a wonderful example of how complex, nuanced and just plain impossible the English language can be. The book is also very very funny! VG/VG

We've been in business since 1975, over 25 years with a general antiquarian bookshop in Bangor. We are open by appointment; most of our stock of over 20,000 old and rare books have never been listed online, including a large selection of books on Maine and the Maine Woods. We are regularly adding to our inventory with new acquisitions.
