Between pages 128 and 129 that there are 16 pages of sepia toned illustrations or photographs. With in the text there are numerous black-and-white line drawings. Plain paperback binding with black coloured titles to the front panel and back strip. Black and white photograph of author to the rear book panel. A book, from the early 20th century, on archaeological digging and finds in Palestine and its environs. The book is showing age and wear. Creasing to the book corners, with multiple creases to the lower right hand corner of the front panel. Chipping to the back strip, particularly the lower edge. Rubbing of the book panels and edges with foxing present. Sunning of the back strip and to the panels. Browning of the text block edges and lighter browning to the pages. Scattered foxing throughout. We seem to specialize in non mainstream stuff but read and stock Science-fiction, fantasy, detective fiction, history, biography and true crime, war, natural history. cooking, children's books and try to avoid current text books.We probably have the largest collection of Science Fiction, Penguins and general crime in Victoria in an open shop ( David has 8 bookcases 900mm x 2200mm of sf and f) ( Penny has 8 bookcases 1200mm x 2400 of sf and f )
