Octavo, with publisher's statement 'we have improved it by the addition of many new illustrations, togetrher with a fine steel portrait of Sir John Franklin, and a sketch of his life, extracted from Allibone's forthcoming Dictionary of Literature and Authors'. A very good set in publisher's 3/4 calf and marbled boards. Small closed tear to the top of the spine of volume 1, 3 maps, 2 folding plus tissue guards on steel engravings. A very good set
