BITLIS continues the story forty years later. The town of Bitlis was in Armenia, but is now part of Turkey, and is the ancestral home of the Saroyan family. HARATCH, set in Paris where Saroyan maintained a second home, considers the Armenian dilemma in the 1970s. Selected Bibliography.
