A very small three digit number in ink at the top of the front free endpaper, moderate browning on page 8 and the adjacent colour plate tissue guard - likely caused by a laid-in paper clipping, very small foxing mark in the gutter of pages 70/71 - migrates into adjacent pages, page 159 and previous page have several fore-edge tears and a small chip due to rough opening of the pages, slight separation between some page gatherings - pages are holding firmly in the binding, very light browning in the margins of the pages, browning to the edges of the boards, light to moderate edge wear to boards, slight bumping to the corners of the boards..
