The fourth edition of Theodore Besterman's "A World Bibliography of Bibliographies" was published in 1965-66. It's a monumental book which contains 6664 columns. Rowman and Littlefield in 18 separate publications gathered all the titles in some of the major fields. The volume on art and architecture includes approximately 1000 entries.
