The book is in Fine condition with a Very Good+ dust jacket. (Click on photo.) The book was part of Greystone's "Art of the World" series. The book includes numerous color illustrations, as well as line drawings. It shows the ways in which the art of ancient Egypt was so closely connected to its culture and religious beliefs. This handsome book is bound in a burgundy woven cloth with gilt and black spine lettering. The dust jacket has light edge wear, several tiny tears, and rubbing at the spine crown. The book measures 6 7/8 by 9 1/4 inches and includes 256 pages. . First U.S. Edition. Hard Cover. Fine/Very Good+. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
