Pages: clean, bright, tight; all edges modestly sunned, gift inscription inked to first free end page. Cover: teal cloth, gilt titles spine; minimal shelfwear, extrems barely worn, top edge a bit foxed. DJ: unclipped, glossy white, color photo front, black titles front/spine; moderate edge/shelfwear w/small to medium closed tears and chips, head tattered with partial loss of author's name, front flap creased, front edge near spine is faded. Heavy.

Very Good (VG)-small to modest tears, chips, marks, cocked etc. Good (G)-not so much, with larger tears or chips, possibly soiled, cocked, etc. Fair-ugly, with pages or large areas of DJ missing or other major defects. Poor(P)-truly ugly, disbound or requiring other major rehabilitation. We stabilize most minor defects with archival quality materials, and with few exceptions, these stabilizations are reversible
