First edition of Arts of the South Seas in the original publisher's cloth binding and clipped dust wrapper. By Ralph Linton and Paul S. Wingert, in collaboration with Rene D'Hardnoncourt. This edition limited to 23,500 copies.Illustrated with monochrome photographs throughout the text and colour illustrations by Miguel Covarrubias. In the original publisher's cloth binding and clipped dust wrapper. Externally, very smart. There is some wear to the extremities of the dust wrapper, including some slight loss and a few small tears. To the binding, there is some minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean. Very Good

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
