Wraps good: toned, scuffed, soiled, creased; light to moderate edgewear, including sporadic minor loss to edges, particularly of January and February, and minor loss to spine ends of most issues. Impressions in front cover of January, where it has taken the shape of a rubber band that previously held the issues together. Date rubber-stamped to back of February and faintly to front of December. Small horizontal closed tear through fore-edge of front cover and first 75 pages of May, without loss to text. Dampstaining to back and spine of September issue. Issues all staplebound; staples pulling slightly from first few pages, but secure. Staples also free of rust, the September issue excepted - top staple rusted, with some staining just at staple site. Covers of the September and December issues are beginning to lift from the textblocks, so that the binding holding covers to textblock is delicate, but is still holding; binding is secure through both textblocks. Top half of front hinge is split in March issue, without effect on textblock, sound; all other bindings also sound. Pages toned. Marginal notation and underlining in March issue; all other texts unmarked. Highlights include contributions from Ray Bradbury, A. E. Van Vogt, Walter M. Miller Jr., Isaac Asimov, L. Sprague de Camp, and Arthur C. Clarke.
