London: Chapman & Hall, 1957. First Edition. Hardcover in Dust Jacket. Near Fine/Near Fine. Lynton Lamb (dust jacket illustration). Small 8vo. Pp. [1-6], 7-158. Bound in blue cloth with gilt lettering on spine. Bookseller tag on rear pastedown (Holliday Bookshop, E. 54th St. in Manhattan). In the two-color illustrated dust jacket, 10/6 price intact on the front flap. The author's first novel, written at age 16. The Lynton Lamb wrap-around dust jacket illustration is a model of exquisite restraint. Dust jacket is now preserved in a removable, clear archival sleeve.
