About This Item

Cosmopolitan Book Corporation, 1929. First Edition. Cloth & Boards. Near Fine/No Jacket as Issued. A handsome and scarce Limited Numbered First Edition signed by President Coolidge on the limitation page and numbered 252 of 1,000 Limited Edition copies. With dark blue cloth spine and marbled paper boards with gold titling. In near fine condition with very slight cocking, two spots and a scratch on the front cover but with attractive gold gilt on the top edge and the interior is bright and clean, and the pages are stiff and fresh. There is slight darkening on the inside hinge of the front endpapers as though there had been a small article there previously, and the untrimmed page edges are naturally tanned from age. Overall a very solid book with a fresh and clean signature and clean and clear photographs. A handsome book.
