The text is illustrated with colour and black-and-white photographs and the occasional black-and-white illustration. Black coloured cloth covered boards with gilt coloured titles to the backstrip. Illustrated dustwrapper (wraparound) with pale peach coloured titles to the front panel and backstrip. A book put out in conjunction with a television series of the same name and a radio series called "The Long Search Continued". It is a introduction to the living religions of the world. Religion is explored are: – Hinduism, Buddhism, Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Religions within Hinduism, China, and Japan and Beyond the White Frontier. Softening and rubbing of the backstrip edges with rubbing of the book corners and lower book edges as well. The front panel is borrowed and there is light age toning of the textblock edges and pages. There are two small indentations / holes to the rear panel. A little rubbing to the dustwrapper edges and panels and two holes in the dustwrapper, commensurate with underlying damage to the boards to the rear dustwrapper panel.
