[good sound copy, light shelfwear to bottom edge, small red lip print on bottom edge of text block (presumably a remainder mark); jacket moderately rubbed, no tears or chips, a touch of wrinkling along top edge of front panel]. (pen and ink drawings) The author's second book about dogs, and his first about the "grueling but hilarious adventures" of the title pooch, a mongrel pup rescued from drowning in Leeds, England, who subsequently "became a delinquent in the back streets of Leeds, the instinct for survival gradually taking over and replacing his trust in humans." .
