Regina : School Aids and Text Book Publishing Co., 1945. 62 pp, 8" H. Green patterned endpapers, 2 b&w photographs, drawing. These ballads were written by an officer of the South Saskatchewan Regiment while in a German POW camp (Oflag VII/B) during WWII. Interior - two small splits in paper of front hinge, light browning to edges of endpapers, light browning to margins of pages, tiny crease and faint bump at top corner of pages, staples are rusty very small foxing mark on edge of pages 27 to 34. Exterior - edges of text block are browned, tiny scuff on top of text block, light to moderate edge wear on covers and spine, some small and tiny light stains on covers, a few small creases on covers.. Second Printing. Stapled in Wraps. Good-.
