The first four chapters are by various authors with explanatory background information: Beads as personal adornment, Beads in the Upper Great Lakes, Glass bead manufacturing, and Caring for American Indian materials. The remainder of the book contains photos (with captions) of the beautiful items of clothing, mocassins, footwear, etc. in the exhibition. Original white paper covers with color photos. The covers are in nice condtion with no creases, tears or chips. This is a nice clean, tight and unmarked book with no interior or exterior markings, no previous owner names and no bookplates. ; Grand Rapids Public Museum Publication No. 3 Series; Color & b&w Photos; 4to 11" - 13" tall; 84 pages .
