There is a one -inch chip on the top of the title page and the pages are yellowed with age. The pages are otherwise clean with no writing. The copyright page shows 1937 as the published date. The front cover has a color illustration of a ship at sea and the back cover has a color illustration of a map. The covers are clean with light edgewear and light crease marks. We always ship in a sturdy cardboard box!
