"On paper made in the author's mill at Lime Rock, Connecticut. The water-mark portrait shows him half-way before life began. The cover paper was made by Veronica Ruzicka and the book planned by Bruce Rogers. 219 copies"--Colophon. "This is without a doubt one of the most magnificent of the Rowfant Club Books. The watermark portrait of Mr. Hunter is a rare and remarkable example of this kind of work and is, in itself, sufficient to give the volume the enviable position it has achieved among collector's items." - Schubert II, page 35.
