About the author

Paul Parsons is a former editor of the BBC science and technology magazine Focus and managing editor of BBC Sky At Night magazine. He has been a science writer and journalist for more than 20 years, contributing to New Scientist, the Guardian, Daily Telegraph, Men's Health, and National Geographic, and is the author of several books including The Science of Doctor Who, Science 1001, and The Periodic Table.
